“National Cemeteries on Land and Water,“ is a reflection on my artistic residency in Barbados 2024, during which I explored through movement a form of reverence to those who died and lived in enslavement on the island. Thus, recognizing the beaches as national cemeteries, as well as those on land, such as the Newton cemetery is paramount.
